About QES Connect Ltd

QES Connect Ltd is an independent consultancy, offering advice and assistance to small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) in East Anglia in the fields of Quality, Safety, Business Continuity. Its services include the development of Health and Safety management systems to HSG 65, Quality Management systems to the ISO9001 standard or Business Continuity Management systems to the BS25999 standard. It also carries out risk assessments, develops safety policies and provides advice on compliance with regulations and standards.

The company is run by Andy Saunders who worked previously in manufacturing industry until 2000 prior to setting up QES Connect. Since forming his own company, he and his colleagues have assisted small to medium size businesses in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex to comply with safety legislation and to achieve ISO9001 certification. These businesses cover a range of industries including manufacturing, software development, transport and warehousing and waste disposal. Andy is assisted by fellow director Richard Annis, a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, who supervises all work relating to safety.

Richard Annis is a founder director of QES Connect Ltd, and is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner, qualified to NEBOSH Diploma level. He has been a full time Health & Safety professional since 1993, and a Corporate member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) since 1998. He has worked in international companies in the semiconductor industry, implementing and managing occupational health and safety including development of policy and procedures, programme organisation, emergency preparedness and response, regulatory compliance, risk management, safety engineering, chemical safety, training, and internal auditing.
